Welcome to the Anni-VERVE-sary Blog Hop! Verve turns three today and we’re celebrating with a hop, hop, hop! If you've already been hopping along, you arrived here from Laurie's blog (doesn't she create the most amazing cards?!), If not, head on over to Julee's blog (Verve owner/designer extraordinaire) for all the info on how to win prizes (after all, what's a party without presents?), and to start hopping from the beginning. If there's a hiccup along the hop, you can always head to the Master Hop List to get the full list of links.I really wanted to tackle a slightly bigger project in honor of Verve's birthday, so a card gift box was quickly decided upon. I used a tutorial on SCS by the very same Laurie (which can be found here.) to create this box. It was pretty simple, which is just the way I like it! I also dragged out some older SU! dp, since it was bright and cheery (and this is a cheery event!).
One of my absolute favorite things about Verve are the sentiments and the incredible fonts. When I need a sentiment... Verve is my go to. Therefore, I knew my project for today needed to feature some fabulous sentiments from a bunch of different Verve sets. They just make me so happy all lined up and displayed like this!
I stuck with a same color theme for all of the cards, added contrasting papers, ribbon, and jewels to make them pop just a little bit more. So, there ya have it!
Thanks for hopping by! Now it's time to hop on over to Carolina’s blog, for a little more Verve-y goodness.
