Fall to Layout

Good morning. I'm back with another card. I know, right? Two days in a row! This may be a record for September, lol.

I warned you that this card isn't quite up to par yet. But it's getting closer. Maybe I'll get crafty tonight and have something a little closer to my normal. Despite the extreme heat outside today (can you say hello 109 degree heat?), I'm still feeling fall-ish. Fall colors, fall leaves, cool weather (oh how I miss you!)... I love fall! I pulled out some fall themed dp and got down to business. Oh, and I used the "Fall" to layout sketch from two weeks ago, teehee.

I stamped the leaves in Orange Zest and then rock-n-rolled it in Really Rust for some dimension. Some tiny brown jewels scattered around added a little bit of sparkle. I even distressed the edges of this card (and you all know how often I distress edges... almost never!) to give it more of a fall feeling.

Well, that's it for today. Short and sweet. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. What a wonderful array of leaves. I just love leaves and these fabulous fall colours! Wonderful touches of bling on the leaves as per the DP. Love the green inking on the sentiment panel too. Darling card :)

Just finished Book 5 of Jamie and Claire. Now that school has started up and reading time gets cut short, I'm reading a Ken Follet novel before I go back to J & C.

    Have agreat day :)
