Mojo Monday

So, I'm a week behind on this one, but it got made and needs to be displayed. :)

This is last week's Mojo Monday sketch. It's a so-so card for me. After completing it, I wished I had made the entire back layer only one dp instead of two. But the glue was down and the card done. Next time....

It's officially my first day of Spring Break and oh did it feel wonderful to sleep in a bit. It's also pouring rain today which makes me even more glad that I'm not teaching! lol My plans for today pretty much include taking care of my car, and maybe doing some housework. It's time for an oil change and I am in need of a new windshield (darn truck on the freeway!). Amy's mom (Mom Cora) is coming into town today for a visit, so some vacuuming and dusting may be in order just to spiff the place up a little bit.

But in the meantime, I love sitting here and listening to the rain fall down. Summer will be here before we know it and it will be hotter than stink outside... So this cool rain is most welcome!

Have a great Monday! Thanks for stopping by!

  4. You were braver than me in trying this sketch, Kristina LOL! With going away on the weekend only so much could be done and this one would have been a brain burner for me so I skipped it...hanging my head in shame...LOL! Beautiful colour combo on this card and use of that hostessing set. Enjoy your Spring Break!!!

  5. What a beautiful soft card you've made Kristina. I wouldn't have thought about mixing those colours - but you've done it and its perfect!! I chickened out of doing the MoJo sketch last week.....just couldn't get my head around all those layers. :) xx
