Sweet Sunday Sketch #71

Good morning! It's a glorious holiday here in the US and that means no school today! Woohoo! It was absolutely blissful to go to bed last night and not have to set an alarm for this morning. I do love my sleep. :)

I used some of my free time yesterday to work on my card for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch this week. I took a nod from Karen and turned my card into a square to keep the oval a little bit smaller. I must be in a retro mood, because I reached into some of my ooooold stamps, this one being from MFT. I can't remember the last time I inked up this set! But this little sundae was staring at me from my stamp drawer and just felt right with this bright color scheme. I mixed some "new" into this card as well, using some of my new Dotti Biscotti dp that I got from PTI in my last order. It had yet to be cut and it was high time to play around with it.

I guess that's it out of me today. It going to be a great day of relaxation, a few fun errands, and stamping. Perfect. Thanks for stopping by!
