I'm officially done with conferences and still have one more minimum day at work to tackle some long neglected piles of stuff in my classroom. I love free work time! I tackled my desk today, which tends to be my default drop zone for anything that I don't know where to put at the moment, lol.
I have a quick card this evening for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch. Though, upon completing it I realized that I didn't line up my vertical panels like the sketch. Whoops! We'll just pretend it was supposed to be this way. :)
I used one of my new Verve Plain Jane's for my sentiment and stamped my favorite flower from Because of You in the background. I am going to a friend's birthday barbecue this weekend, and this will be the perfect card! No glitz and glamor on here... Just a simple as is card. Guess I'm a little tired.
Thanks for stopping by!

Wonderfully done, Kristina. Can't go wrong with that colour combo :D Love that HB script and the flower in the same panel. Glad to hear all the PTCs are over. We just got back from heading back into Vancouver to do the Zipline. Oh my word, was that fun!! 3 hour wait for a 30 second ride, but well worth it. Meet so many wonderful people in line and then off to the Vancouver Art Gallery and the BC Pavilion. A fabulous day with the kids. Only three more days of Spring Break and then I get some stamping time back - yeah!!
ReplyDeletelove the blue and brown, always a classy pairing :) So glad you made it through conferences :) and to have the rest of the afternoons off is always great :) There's something to be said about being given time to reflect on our class and deal with the piles!! I was in a spring cleaning mood too this week :) have a wonderful weekend...it's warming up here :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. One of my favorite color palettes. The bow is beautiful.
