Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #47

I can't stop making cards with my new Giga Guide Lines set! I love how amazing this stamp makes every card look. I think this is the third card I've made with it today, but the only one I can show you. :) It's holiday time...

I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge to launch this card. I had these colors in mind lately, don't really know why, but I really like them together. I might have to whip up a few more of these! Or at least more cards in this color combo.
I punched some little flowers with a MS punch and added a jewel in their middles for some sparkle.

Sorry this post is so brief. I'm slaving away at report cards this weekend. This card only happened because I was going to go crazy without a break, hehe. I officially have all of the grades done and am now working on all of the comments. It's always tricky to get the wording just right to effectively get my point across. It will help that at my new school I actually get to conference over the report cards, so I can explain any questions there on the spot.

Enough procrastinating. :) Thanks for stopping by! I'm off to type some more comments!

  1. What a stunning take on Mercy's challenge!
I LOVE the classic lines of this card. The DP is so pretty and the gold and grey work perfectly together.

  2. LOL, I'm stamping during report breaks too!! My problem is my computer is in my studio!! It's way too tempting NOT to look at my paper and stamps and ribbon...they whisper to me while I type!! LOL Love the colours on this one...a new combo to me :) The flowers are just the right touch :) Good luck with the rest of your reports...I have 7 more to do, but they are my easiest...I planned it that way so I could finish early today and stamp!! Did you see the PTI release? We ordered quite a bit...my dh will pick it up in the States next week on a fishing trip...so no taxes and customs!! YAY!!
