Mojo Monday

***Scroll down for my Anni-Verve-sary Blog Hop post.***

Good afternoon! Don't you love those moments when you look at a sketch and exactly what you want to create immediately pops into your head? That was my morning the moment I looked at this week's new Mojo Monday sketch. I'm going to attribute it to the Anni-Verve-sary blog hop (which took me into this afternoon to finish hopping through all those FABULOUS blogs!), and the oodles of inspiration on each page. Oh, and did I mention it's prize week for Mojo Monday? Hooray for the chance to score some Verve!

There is also something wonderful about the colors blue and green together. They aren't technically complementary colors, but I think I might deem them as complementary colors from this point on. I pulled out some gorgeous PTI dp to mix and match on this card.

I stamped the flower from Feel the Sun (at least I think it is that set... This may be my set that came on the wrong backing... and I have yet to fix it in my Verve binder. Might need to go check on that one...) three times, twice on white to color with my copics, and a third time on the dp. I popped up the top layer, added some glitter and a big decorative brad in the middle.

The bottom of the green panel was feeling a little naked, so I added two strips of glitter using my double sided tape. It always adds such a nice little subtle touch to a card. Lastly, I decided to round off two corners of the card to mimic the rounded edges of the dp panels. So happy with how this turned out!

Thanks for stopping by today!
