...And then a day or two passes and it's still staring at me. And suddenly inspiration strikes! The sketch isn't so terrifying anymore, full of doom and gloom. It's suddenly full of hope, and vision. Promise.
That was Jen's Sketch for You to Try. So, I sat down to conquer this little baby yesterday with (yet again!) October Afternoon dp in hand. I think these few papers may be my favorites out of the entire paper stack. I love the soft flowers, the colors, how it looks framed on kraft and vanilla. It's just a little bit of heaven on some dp. :)

That's it for me today. I'm back to checking my work email every five minutes... hoping... reaaally hoping. So, off to go check it! hehe
Thanks for stopping by!

I like the idea of walking away and mulling it over through the day :)
ReplyDeleteWay to conquer that sketch! I would have run away and kept running LOL! Great work with it :) The onsie is too cute paper pieced. I'm too old to have friends with babies....sigh... but it's fun having some of my mom's friends becoming Grandmas and being able to make some for them! Off to swimming we go. Hope your e-mail comes through today!!
ReplyDeleteThis is ADORABLE!! I love that onsie so much and the layout on this card is fabulous!
