Mojo Monday

Good evening! It's contest week over on the Mojo Monday blog, and I'm definitely making a card this week. I've missed several of these in a row due to the holidays. Plus, this sketch was intriguing... I usually have, well, "issues" with circles, but I could almost visualize this one. It definitely helped that I had some of my Bloom & Grow dp by My Mind's Eye sitting on my desk. It's been staring at me for the last two days, begging to be used. I love this paper... the colors, the patterns. And some of my favorites are almost gone! Might be time to order some more. :)

I used on of my flower nestabilities for the outer circle and went from there. I added some jewels to the corners in addition to the embellishments indicated in the sketch. And I had to sneak a bow on there somehow, lol! That middle just felt a little lonely... It needed something to balance the layers. And I didn't want to go overboard on the floral theme.

Well, I'm off to join my roomie for a little Chuck marathon on NBC. LOVE that show! It's the cheesiest humor, but it makes me laugh out loud during every single episode. Chuck's just so endearing, hehe. Have a wonderful rest of your evening! And happy almost Friday!
